The Science

Science that starts with her

Every formulation begins with women's biology, thoughtful ingredient selection and evidence worth understanding.

Science designed around women

Women's bodies aren't smaller versions of men's bodies.

Hormones, cycles, metabolism, and nutritional needs can change in ways that influence how women feel at different points in their lives.

At House of Wellness, we use that understanding as a starting point. Our formulations bring together women's biology, scientific evidence and thoughtful ingredient selection to create wellness support designed around what women's bodies may need.

Botanical ingredients
Botanicals, vitamins and minerals - chosen for a reason

Start with the science. Build with purpose.

Every House of Wellness formulation begins with a simple question: what does this ingredient bring to the formula, and why does it belong there?

Biology first

We consider the biological realities of women's bodies and the ways their needs can change across cycles, hormonal transitions and everyday life.

Evidence driven

We look at available scientific research and evidence when evaluating ingredients and their role in a formulation.

Thoughtfully formulated

Ingredients aren't included because they are fashionable or familiar. They have a purpose within the formula, working alongside other components to address a considered wellness need.

Safety matters

Effective wellness begins with responsible formulation. We consider quality, appropriate use and safety alongside the potential benefits of every ingredient.

It starts with the ingredient

Nothing gets a place in the formula without a reason. From botanicals rooted in traditional wellness to vitamins, minerals and other researched ingredients, we look at the evidence, intended role and relevance to women's wellness before bringing an ingredient into a formulation.

Why formulations matter

The ingredient is only part of the story. We don't look at ingredients in isolation.

The way ingredients are selected, combined and formulated matters too. Each House of Wellness product is built around a specific wellness need, with the formulation designed to bring its chosen components together purposefully.

  • The goal isn't more ingredients.
  • It's the right ingredients, for the right reason.

Science you can understand. Care you can trust.

Women's wellness doesn't need more noise. It needs thoughtful questions, better understanding and products created with purpose.

Why is a science-first approach important in women's wellness?

Women's bodies experience biological changes that can influence hormonal, nutritional and everyday wellness needs. A science-first approach helps us evaluate ingredients and formulations with those differences in mind.

How do you select ingredients?

We consider the available scientific evidence, the ingredient's intended role, its relevance to women's wellness and how it fits with the rest of the formulation.

Do natural ingredients automatically mean they are safe?

No. Natural does not automatically mean safe or effective. Ingredients need to be evaluated for their intended use, quality, evidence and suitability within a formulation.

Do you focus on short-term relief or long-term wellness?

It depends on the product and the need. Some formulations are designed for targeted support, while others are intended to become part of an everyday wellness routine.

How do you make complex science easier to understand?

We focus on explaining what an ingredient is, why it is included and what role it is intended to play, without unnecessary scientific jargon.
